A tree stands still
\nBut a tree swing
\nswings both ways<\/p>\n
You may have slept all day
\nWhen you woke
\nIt was dark
\nBut look up
\nand notice the stars are bright<\/p>\n
We’re only here for a short time
\nWhen things are wrong
\nIts then we pay attention
\nIt seems so long
\nFailing to measure the good times
\nOne day you wake up
\nSo much of your time is gone<\/p>\n
Our boldness becomes a grain of sand
\nOur wisdom a stormy beach of thrashing waves
\nConfusion without any rhyme
\nBut you just know
\nUnable to explain how you knew<\/p>\n
Leaves float silently to the ground
\nWhen the wind blows
\nThose leaves come alive and make a sound<\/p>\n
