Human Kind Was Destroyed and Is Currently Being Recreated

Okay – I just had this dream. There was a terrible accident and the human race was completely wiped out so WE were created out of memory and this has taken many thousands of years and it is almost complete and this is the reason for the prime directive, why we are visited so much but most of the visitors seem to only be observing. We are a curiosity. We are very special, important, protected as if we were an endangered species.
